“You can take the night off guys be back for 8 am thanks” they entered the lift and we fell into the
suite clothes torn off bodies united and once we found the bed we took from each other every last
gasp until we were too exhausted and drifted into sleep totally spent.

Chapter 10

Saturday dawned a clear day a great chance to sit by the pool, Morgan rang his parents and they
agreed to meet us down on the pool terrace for breakfast in just an hour, enough time to shower
and dry my hair properly. Last nights (and this mornings) shenanigans had turned my hair into a
scarecrow, I felt much better when it was falling back into its soft waves again, I put on one of my
new bikini's the most covered up one, didn't want to fall out in front of his dad that would be gross.
I threw on a sun dress and flip flops grabbed my sun glasses and waited for Morgan to come back
for me, he had nipped down to meet with Rose to go over some figures, I put the television on to
have a catch up with the news I caught the tail end of a story about a mother and baby being
caught up in a fire bomb and decided to turn it off again, I was thinking about going down on my
own when there was a knock, I hesitated the agents were on the door so it must be someone given
the all clear so I opened it to see Olivia standing there she was taller than me and wasp thin and
delicate she made me feel clumpy next to her, she too was dressed for sunbathing which was great
“ hey Jenna bro sent me to get you he is stuck with the accountant mum and dad are waiting to
order out on the terrace” I grabbed my bag and followed her into the lift
“What’s with the two goons outside your room is Morgan getting paranoid in his old age or
something?” I laughed
“Something like that, so are we getting bronzed today then?” I had successfully fielded that one I
don't know how I will do it when the “
Goons”
turned up by the pool.
“You are bronzed already lucky thing, look how brown your legs are, you make me feel like a
corpse” we went out into the sun and joined her parents
“Good morning Jenna how are you today?” Lorna looked radiant in a lovely floral kaftan and huge
floppy hat
“I am well thank you starving though” Harrison nodded at me; I got the feeling he was the strong
silent type.
“Good morning family!” Morgan had wandered up behind me without noticing he bent down to
kiss my cheek
“breakfast is on the way, sorry I didn't collect you Jenna accounts took longer than I hoped, I have
taken the liberty of ordering a selection so we didn't miss the kitchen by ordering late” he sat next
to me and I got a good look at him for the first time in at least an hour! Linen shorts and t shirt he
looked as ever model perfect.
“Jenna your hair is beautiful so unusual is it naturally that dark?” Lorna was stroking it gently
“it’s natural yes and very curly normally I had it relaxed a couple of weeks ago and its great unless I
don't dry it properly then I look like I have had my fingers in a socket “ she laughed
“so lovely and long you must have Mediterranean genes with that dark colouring” Morgan
answered for me as I was suddenly floundering for the right thing to say
“She has an Italian Father, now here is the food lets enjoy then we can find ourselves a nice spot in
the sun” we all relaxed as we tucked into the huge array of food, I stuck to my usual of pancakes
and syrup aware of Harrison watching me as I helped myself to my fourth
“Nice to see a girl with a healthy appetite” he stated giving a stern look to his daughter who was
eating a grapefruit.
“Dad back off will you” I sensed an atmosphere with those two I would quiz Morgan later. Sun
beds found and towels laid out we all started with the bore of sun cream application, Harrison
dived into the pool and started doing laps I delayed taking my sun dress off as I had forgotten
about my ribs they didn't look very pretty, Olivia was horizontal ear buds in and soaking up the rays
Lorna had her kindle and was under the umbrella shade Morgan removed his top and asked me to
put his cream on, he had lovely olive skin so didn't burn and like me only needed a low SPF
“Let me do your cream now angel?” I didn't move
“Jenna take off the dress so I can put some on your back,” he noticed my mood and sat on my sun
bed close to me
“Are you worried about the bruising? Don't forget they know about that, and if you think anyone
would notice bruises with legs and breasts like that then you are mistaken” I smiled feeling better
for his kind words I lifted up my arms and allowed him to remove my dress, his expression when he
saw my bikini was a lovely moment he practically dribbled
“Hey just stick the cream on my back pervert” he grinned and attended my needs
“Need me to do the front?” I snatched the tube from him laughing and shoved him off my bed,
Lorna looked up from her book
“well I see the Italian genes gave you an amazing figure sweetie, but your side looks painful I have
some Ibuprofen if you need any that must be agony” I smiled back
“Thanks Mrs Drake but I am on prescription pain relief they seem to do the job” she nodded
“call me Lorna please you are as good as family now” she went back to her kindle and I lay back
relishing the feel of the sun soaking in to my skin it had been years since I had done this and it felt
wonderful, Morgan had pushed his bed close to mine and we held hands while we baked lack of
sleep caught up with us both and it was lunch time before we woke up.
“Jenna wake up baby you will burn if you lie out at this time of day I have fetched you a bottle of
water, we slept for a couple of hours ” I sat up abruptly my head swimming
“eew I feel sickly it’s not good to sleep in the sun” I drank the water gratefully noticing we were
alone
“Where is everyone?” he sat down on my bed again
“The olds are having lunch in the restaurant and Olivia has gone off to call Jose' her artist boyfriend
I won't tell you what my dad calls him” I thought carefully about my next question
“Is Olivia close to your dad I sense a tension” he raised his eyebrows
“very intuitive yes my father thinks art is frivolous not a real career and he thinks Jose is a bad
influence, he is convinced she has an eating disorder to be honest it worries me too she doesn't
appear to eat and she is far too thin but mother humours her and says her figure is model like
which I don't think helps at all” I agreed with the too thin part but then she looked svelte rather
than gaunt so maybe the men were being over cautious
“I will try and have a girlie chat if I can and see if I can pick anything up” he kissed me
“Thanks that would be nice do you need food at all I ate a large breakfast but still could eat
something” I could kill for a burger but I kept that to myself
“I wouldn't mind a sandwich of some description” he signalled a waitress and placed an order for
fries and a steak sandwich for two. I looked around to see if I could spot our body guards they were
sat in the bar in the shade reading newspapers very discreet. Not. The rest of the day I lay on my
front and chatted with Olivia she was fun and frank, I liked that about her and she told some
hilarious stories about her brother from their child hood he objected to a couple and at one point
he picked her up and dropped her in the pool to shut her up, it had us all laughing even Harrison, I
couldn't tell what he thought of me he appeared to be studying me and I caught the occasional
sympathetic glance and then a worried expression it made me very jumpy. I quizzed Morgan back
in our suite
“What’s with your dad he is freaking me out” Morgan pulled me to the couch
“I told him a few things that’s all, he asked too many questions about the FBI guys, he spotted
them straight away “great now he thinks I am a liability and probably hates me” he grabbed my
hands
“Elisa he is worried for you that’s all, he knows no names just the basic facts but he wants to help,
he has insisted you go and stay with them in their villa if you are in serious danger again, he wants
to protect you, funnily enough he seems totally taken with you just like his son” he pulled me into
his arms
“we need to wash off the sun cream and I want to examine your white bits, well pale gold bits
anyway” he took my hand and led me to the bathroom I tied back my hair so I didn't get it wet, he
stood behind me and lifted my sun dress off over my head unclipped my bikini top and sucked air
in through his teeth
“Delectable baby” he placed both hands on my breasts, our eyes locked
The Drakes were leaving straight after breakfast tomorrow so dinner that evening was to be our
last time together for a while, Olivia and I decided to prop up the cocktail bar whilst the grownups
talked shop. I had been watching her today she didn't eat in front of her parents at all but I spotted
a chocolate supply in her bag and noticed ketchup on her chin after a toilet trip,
“So Olivia confession time what's with the eating thing?” she lowered her voice but smiled
wickedly at me
“If daddy dearest is nagging about food he backs off from the old
Art is not a career but a hobby
lecture it's great to have him fussing over me instead of hassling me, awful aren't I?” I chose my
words carefully
“You speak of Jose like he is the love of your life, am I wrong?” her eyes lit up
“He is my everything my soul mate my forever” I rolled my eyes at her
“Do you want your family to accept him and love him too?” she looked shocked
“err yes deffo he is part of me now, I don't know why my dad is so against him he is an artist but
owns his own gallery and can support both of us, it really upsets me” I took her hand
“Olivia your dad is holding him responsible for giving you what he thinks is an eating disorder, he
believes Jose’ has started you on this obsession, ease off that a bit and things will calm down with
your father” she looked at me and the penny dropped
“shit what an idiot I am, thanks Jen I think this can be easily fixed” we re-joined the others, I was
wearing a lemon sleeveless blouse and short denim skirt, my legs had gone so brown I wanted to
show them off

“You look so pretty Jenna that bit of sun and you are glowing “I smiled at Lorna she was a lovely
woman, she reminded me of my own mother the elegance and grace alongside a powerful man, it
reminded me of how much I missed her. We ordered our food I ordered a Drake special burger
with all the extra's I had been craving one all day and now I felt more at ease with Morgan's family
I wouldn't be self-conscious eating it.
“Oh Jenna that sounds yummy make that two of those and I want double fries with mine please”
everyone stared at Olivia I stifled a giggle but the look on Harrison's face just about finished me off,
she winked at me and I turned my giggles into a polite cough, Morgan was looking at us both
quizzically shaking his head and put his arm around my shoulders.
The evening was very pleasant Olivia and I chatted all night about trivial things but we got on
famously, the conversation amongst the grownups was as usual Hotel business. I was surprised at
how involved Lorna was in the company, she still ran all the marketing for Drakes from an office at
her home, she picked my brains over a few things once she discovered my degree she seemed
keen on setting me up with an office at the hotel and making me her English counterpart, I have to
say the idea was exciting I loved marketing and that side of things so we talked animatedly for the
rest of the meal Morgan was as enthusiastic as his mum he had no idea about my degree so we
agreed Lorna would come over to London soon and we would organise some space and then liaise
together. We said our goodbyes as they would be gone before breakfast, I was sorry to say
goodbye to Olivia we had struck up a firm friendship, I wished I could be myself with them maybe
in time I hoped, we exchanged numbers and then Morgan and I retired to our suite. I packed my
new clothes so I didn't have to rush around in the morning
“I need to go down and tie up loose ends with Rose you go to bed I will try not to wake you up” I
wasn't sure I was happy about late night meetings with Rose but she had made herself scarce all
day leaving me to bond with his family without her interference, I was grateful for that knowing
she had been Lorna's first choice would have put me on edge with them.
“Goodnight Drake and feel free to disturb me when you get back” I pulled his head down for a kiss
and it soon became heated
“Oh woman I need to go and now or I will have a reminder of you while I am trying to concentrate
damn you” I giggled and pressed myself into his crotch
“Oh yes make sure you bring that back with you later!” he grabbed my hips and ground into me
“I will be thinking about you” he bit my lip and growled then swept out of the room before he
changed his mind.

Chapter 11

We arrived back at Drakes London the following afternoon, the flight had been relaxing and I had
slept most of the way home as Morgan did indeed save himself for me after his meeting we made
up for the lost few hours in suitable fashion. Tony was waiting for us on crutches
“Hey cupcake you bronzed lady look at you” I gave him a hug careful not to knock his leg
“Tony how are you and why are you here you are not well enough to work?” he turned as Rory
came out of the lift I smiled when I saw him
“Hey Rory” Morgan walked in behind us and spoke to the two men
“Hey guys how’s the Venice suite treating you?” I turned to him
“What do you mean?” Tony answered for him
“the ceiling collapsed in our flat with the fire upstairs so we are currently homeless Mr Drake is
putting us up for a few weeks whilst the building repairs take place” I turned to Morgan and kissed
him
“Thank you for looking after my friends” he looked embarrassed
“Hey Tony saved your life I owe him, it was a no brainer” we parted agreeing to meet for drinks
later. I saw Mrs Flint beckoning me anxiously she looked like she needed me
“You go up with the bags and sort out the FBI guys I will see what she wants, Morgan frowned
“Five minutes or I am coming down, I want to welcome you back properly” I tutted at him
“pervert!” we kissed and he whispered in my ear
“l want you Elisa don't keep me waiting” my body trembled he knew exactly how to push my
buttons
“5 minutes” I assured him I walked off aware of his eyes following me
“Mrs Flint hello did you want me “she hugged me briefly
“Jenna I didn't want to disturb you but I have the Ambassadors two bodyguards in my office they
wanted to run things by you before his arrival tomorrow, they have been waiting.” I wondered why
they had come a day early but followed her obediently. The two men stood up on my arrival I
recognised them as the two that were outside Roberto's room on his last visit, I addressed them in
Italian, apparently they wanted to check other exits to decide which one was safest for the
Ambassadors wife to use when she was out with Kate, that was easy to do there was only the one
at the rear of the kitchens used for deliveries, they asked me to show them so I asked Mrs Flint to
call Morgan and explain where I was going so he didn’t worry and that I wouldn't be long. I led the
two Italians through the kitchen store to the heavy back door, there was a yard at the back which
was secure so the press wouldn't be able to get in to harass her, they wanted to check out the
gates so I walked them outside as we got to the gates one was already open and I noticed a van
parked there and wondered if it was a delivery, I was talking away to them when I felt a sharp sting
in my arm
“Shit what was that” I span round but my head was already swimming, vision blurry
“Who are you?” my body sagged I was aware of arms supporting me and I was led to the van and
thrown roughly in the back. My heart broke and I started to sob as the fuzziness took over and I
knew it was too late for help to come
“Sorry Morgan so sorry I love you, I love you”
