Big, big thanks goes out to my four gorgeous children. I’ve never worked to a deadline before, and while I found it achievable, it was still hard, all-consuming work, and I didn’t have a lot of time for much else. But they were all very understanding and supportive, and I couldn’t have done it without them being the beautiful people they are.
I also have to thank my mum and her very supportive band of misfits, especially Pam, for all your encouragement and assistance. It’s nice to know I’m included in your weird
group :P
Lastly, but obviously not by any means least (because everyone has to say that), thanks to
my bestest friends and supporters, Kelli and Nick. You can always tell who your best friends are. They’re the ones who tell you without pause when something just sounds shit. Love you guys. Your honesty is invaluable.

Maree began writing as a hobby around ten years ago when she and her oldest son discovered the genius that is Harry Potter. As he grew, so did her style of writing, slowly progressing from stories of youth, to YA, and then to NA.
The decision to start taking her writing seriously was an easy one. She loved daydreaming, and if she could do it all day and call it a job then she was taking it.
When she’s not writing, she can be found playing taxi driver to her four children, reading, or if the kids are lucky, doing those horribly domesticated things like cooking and cleaning…
She currently lives on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, Australia.
